Inspiration from the Horse
What inspires me in my riding and working with horses is also what inspires my life. I believe all humans are seeking a connection with their source, their nature. The time we spend with horses is a way back to that source, horses are nature. In a life with horses, it is possible to find moments of harmony, and the connection we desire.
I am inspired by the horse with its grace, beauty, and the gentle strength it possesses. Horses are amongst the noblest of creatures and I live to be in their company. They have an amazing ability to be present, in the moment, and move on to the next with purity and truth intact.
Through my yearning to know more about these qualities, I've sought out the best human teachers available and, in my studies, I've learned what it means to portray myself through them with their physical and energetic way of communicating.
Horses by nature are honest and have taught me to communicate with a greater sense of clarity of intention.
What is brought to the horse, is reflected back to you.
In my quest to become a better interpreter of the language that I share with horses, I feel I've become a better human.
The horse has inspired me to be introspective and reflect on the discipline of being self-aware, deliberate, and at peace with the process of achieving goals. The horse has inspired a better life!
